Oh, this is awesome. SO many people know about the Grammaton Cleric and are not flaming me. I'm in heaven.
Even those crazy foreigners from Canadia liked it. I guess they did a good job with the subtitles...

No ... that's OK ... A Canadian Cleric must show no emotion ... the prozium helps ...
However ... for possessing such a sense of sarcasm and humor ... you must be a sense offender ...

yes batman was fantastic. My favorite line was when he gets the huge tank thingy. "tumbler" and then he asks the guy, "Does it come in black" I don't know why but that made me crack up. But anyways the movie was freakin amazing.

I stayed downtown tonight and caught it with a few friends ... go in expecting nothing ... and it makes the experience that much more ...
Remember how you felt when you watched X-Men for the first time? How you kind of nodded and said 'Yeppers ... they got it RIGHT' ... same damned thing ...

First of all I had to say this was one of the best movies I've seen in a lon whiles. Certainly better than the over the top immature previous batmans. Christian Bale is badass.
Side Note
Katie Holmes will not be in ne other future batman movies (no big loss if ya ask me, could use a better and HOTTER actress)
SPOILER KINDA
"I won't kill you, but I dont have to save you", i mean what is more hardcore than that.
This movie, unlike over comic movies, is made in a very realistic story and world. I mean instead of a car whihc pushes a button and flies, you have an all terrain military desert armored vehcile (to be precise). Thinks actually make sense and have purpose. You don't jus have some super wierd dude who got powers in a lab accident, and decides he want to destroy the world because hes bored. You have a very real villian who towards the end pieces it all together. So with a combination of clever comedy, plot twist, real mysteris and solutions that make complete sense which enough attention to the movie could have led you to, and enough action to keep you entertained you come up wiht a movie im proud to give a 8.5 to 9 out of 10 after i saw it the second time (dint see much the first time, i was kinda busy durin the movie)
SPOILER
Finally, as to the sequels, I'm not sure if they will follow up with the whole Joker idea or if that was jus for clever ending. Seeing as how the previous movies used up our major well-known batman villians by using 2 per movie (joker, penguin and cat women, riddler and two face, mr. freeze and ivy)
I think it would be interesting if they continued to create new villians. Although, if they decide to reuse previous villians in different stories or simply remake (doubt they will remake) the other movies Id still have to see it just because this one was so great.
NOW! Let's see, jus several more days and ill be ready for another movie trip... WAR OF THE F***IN WORLDS BABY

Dr. Kraine and Ra's Al-Ghul are both previous Batman villians. Depending on the choices of the directors, we might see at least one of them come back.

Do you drink gnat piss on a regular basis? How many gnats need to piss in a cup for you to have enough to drink?

No kidding. Sometimes my fianceƩ and I will put the movie in just to watch the gun katas... skip back to the beginning of that chapter... repeat as desired. It's rare to see such amazingly fluid fight choreography. I want to kiss the feet of whoever created that.
I'm getting too excited. It's time for my Prozium dose.
Getting back to the original post, I'm excited to hear that Mrs. Cruise won't be joining us for future installments. She wasn't terrible, per se, but she wasn't great either. When juxtaposed against the redongulously talented Bale, she looked like an amateur. Oh, well. Now then, if they could just give us a truly terrifying and otherworldly-looking Joker, instead of the usual drunken circus clown type...
